ASPECT: CONJUNCTION OWNERSHIP: YES

Blending Perceptions
When an individual owns their conjunctions there is a richness of depth through a sense of multiplicity. The planetary energies are allowed to be separate and to be interpreted as variations on a theme. It represents alternate choices and/or a blending of perceptions, style and taste. The emotion associated with the ownership of this aspect is that of a wholeness and excitement for the variety it offers.

Choices
It is very much like having your cupboards well stocked where all the ingredients are at hand for whatever one chooses to create. There are choices, or I should say, there are variations to draw upon. The conjunction symbolizes the coming together of two or more different aspects of our being, to be freely aligned in whichever way we choose.

Stellium
The stellium (3 or more planets in conjunction) offers more depth and variation, but it may also be more of a challenge to own. There is an inherent ability to change course, alter styles of behavior, or perceive many more ways to interpret events. As a spiritual being it represents the sheer excitement for the rich and layered texture of life, for there is never just one way to see or experience life.

Duality not Dichotomy
To own this aspect is to be free of the dichotomy associated with the "either - or" syndrome. You can accept that you are made up of different components that need not always be blended in the same way. You can be both illusive and serious (Neptune/Saturn); you can be both moody and focused (Moon/Pluto) or you can be both certain and unpredictable - or certainly unpredictable (Sun/Uranus). Whenever the planetary energies, that comprise the conjunction, are seen as separate then they can be adjusted and altered according to the individual's whim and fancy.

ASPECT: CONJUNCTION OWNERSHIP: NO

Sacrifice
When the conjunction lacks ownership the energies represented by the planets are homogenized and definition is blurred even though the blend may not be equal in intensity. The energy of one planet in the conjunction gets sacrificed while the other is prominent. This can alternate at any time bringing a reversal of importance or focus. The emotion is a bland uncertainty bordering on apathy.

Shields Up
There is no need to justify your existence. Unfortunately, the lack of ownership often leads people to a defensive position. When questioned as to why they feel courageous one moment and cautious the next, the Mars Saturn conjunction can get defensive by putting the blame on circumstances or unforeseen hardships, where initially there was only the enthusiasm to get started.

To Thine Own Self
Where does the charm and magnetism leave off and the freedom of unpredictability take over in the Venus - Uranus conjunction? One minute there is a perfect host and the next moment he's ready to take off to another party. It is not an abrupt behavior that shows a lack of ownership. In fact when this conjunction lacks ownership they are likely to remain the host while they wish they were somewhere else. It is this vacillation between Venus - the magnet, attracting people, objects, "things"; and Uranus - separations, distance and alienation that is their nature, and it creates uncertainty in their choices when they can't accept that it is their nature to be contrary to ordinary.

Multifaceted
They haven't owned up to being so richly layered and containing so much variety. They do experience uncertainty, but not confusion. They see the choices clearly enough, they just haven't come to accept that it is not a sacrifice, or that being multifaceted is not the same as being inconsistent. Chances are they have been told that there is something wrong with them, and if they believed that lie it would have had a lot to do with influencing their lack of ownership.

ASPECT: OPPOSITION OWNERSHIP: YES

Larger Than Life
The ownership of the opposition aspect is demonstrated through the recognition of how interactive they are with the world. Life is there to be sampled, touched, tasted and brought back home to share. The emotion is one of passion and hunger. These people are larger than life, so to speak. They take big bites out of life and consume it with relish. There is an acceptance that they create their own reality, including their obstacles and their enemies. If it's there, they know they put it there, and so they can change it if it's not to their liking.

Big Appetites
They own the energy that is robust, that has a wide reach and a broad swing. There is always something else, something more... it is the harvest and the feast, but it is also the ending and closure when it's time to move on. The planets, the signs and the houses involved will offer clues as to where they focus their big appetites.

Boundaries
These people have relationships with others that are every bit as passionate as their relationship with life itself. This aspect can take more and give more to relationships than do other aspects. In owning their curiosity and their passion these people are always testing the boundaries of their current adventure as well as testing their relationships with other people. Other folks may think that these individuals know no bounds, but the truth is that they have a healthy respect for those that have established clear boundaries.

Definitions

In their robust desire to sample life people owning this aspect avoid unworthy confrontations and petty competition. They are satisfied to experience things their way without the emotional need to sway others or to win them over. They use confrontation when it has value to them, such as getting to the truth; or for knowing just what those actions or remarks really mean. If things are not clear they do their best to establish definition so that they may know what they are up against.

ASPECT: OPPOSITION OWNERSHIP: NO

Cruel World
A person with oppositions that are not owned can fall into the trap of playing the victim. Life is abrasive and full of obstacles that have been placed there by other people, or even an uncaring God. The emotion is that of anger and resentment.

No Respect
Not having taken ownership of their own creations they blame the world or the people in it for all that is wrong. This aspect then loses all sense of boundaries and it feels like their life is under attack. More often than not, they see an attack where there was none intended. Not only have they lost their boundaries, they have no respect for yours.

Unsafe World
If they are angry aggressive people they are a real handful. If they are timid and frightened people they are clinging and weighty. Either way they tend to sap your energy as their gift to the relationship. They are just as focussed out in the world as the person that owns his/her opposition, but the difference is that the world is not a safe place, or that other people are constantly screwing it up.

Mind Your Own Business
There are times that the lack of ownership shows up in how these people take on problems that are not theirs to begin with. They come to the rescue whether you needed rescuing or not. They stick their nose in your business because they are going to help you. It is precisely because they lack boundaries that they seek to control everything around them. Life is just so unmanageable, even yours, unless they are there to take control.

Simultaneous Lives
These spiritual beings have not taken responsibility for their own creations, at least not in this life-time, and for what ever reason this is so, it is their process. We see life times as linear, but spirit sees life times as simultaneous. The interactivity of multiple life times all exchanging information simultaneously is a creative process we best not sit in judgement on. Put up your clear boundaries and mind your own business.

ASPECT: TRINE OWNERSHIP: YES

Creative Ease
When the trine aspect is owned and recognized the individual can have a great interest in the creative process. Inspiration and ideas become a conscious involvement and the physical body is a focused tool on the process at hand. The emotion is one of possessing a comfortable certainty and ease.

Economy of Movement
Through the ownership of this aspect artistic and creative energies are expressed with ease. These people have the ability to draw upon an inner spontaneity that simply flows. In some cases it is represented by inspiration through a gracefulness of body movement, for others it is hand and eye coordination, and for others yet it is revealed through speech and personal presentation. In all cases there is an economy of movement that reflects the ease and certainty they feel.

Looks So Easy
The physical body is not the focus (even when the art form is that of dance) any more than the sketch artist focuses upon his/her hand when drawing pictures. The focus is directed primarily upon the desired effect, which is the product of the creative process, and the body flows with the energy of certainty and ease. This is not to say that the body doesn't have to sweat and stretch, but people with this aspect and corresponding talents just make it look easy.

Self Affinity
What ever the talent may be that represents the trine aspect it is not one that is acquired through learning, it just is. The talent is always improved upon with practice, but the source of the talent is just a part of them. Through the ownership of this aspect they feel free to express it without hesitation. The ownership reflects a strong affinity these people have with themselves and with what they love to do with their creativity. They are not needy people that require praise and applause, they require only the freedom to express their talents.

ASPECT: TRINE OWNERSHIP: NO

Valuable?
Not all of the talented people believe in their creative capabilities. The lack of ownership reveals people that are aware they have a talent, but they do not know its value. The spontaneity is hindered and the flow is haphazard. The emotion is like a thin vapor of despair, an imprisoned sadness.

Reassurances
Without a strong sense of ownership people with this aspect can be looking for praise and affirmation in the hopes that if they hear it enough they will begin to believe it for themselves. With the uncertainty they display, their genuine talent doesn't shine and it can remain undiscovered and little used.

Glory Days
Some times people express this trine much like a one trick pony. They found something they can perform and so they do it over and over again, looking for a new audience rather than looking for new material. The lack of ownership for this trine also reveals itself in a reluctance towards letting go of the past by not destroying those old creation and setting up a new ones. A little dynamite would come in handy sometimes just to blow it up and start over fresh.

By Hook or...
At times these people can resort to a 'by hook or by crook' attitude, and more likely than not they get away with it. The profile of many a serial killer is that of being pleasant, sociable, charming and intelligent. It is because the trines have a natural skill for timing and spontaneity that, in this case, they are the most deadly.

ASPECT: SQUARE OWNERSHIP: YES

Exploration
When the individual owns the square aspect they avail themselves to limitless possibilities. They are on a journey of exploration where old rules and values are being broken, destroyed, and reshaped into new images. The emotion is that of freedom at hand, tinged with a slight fear and anticipation for the unknown.

Destroy to Create
Through the ownership of this aspect there is the ability to clear out whatever is in the way, be it material, emotional, or spiritual (energy). The thrust of this aspect is to get into the open, to pioneer to new levels, and to destroy whatever restrictions and boundaries there are blocking their next step in spiritual growth. New boundaries will be formed after the old ones fall away, in the mean time there is the challenge of owning this new place of being.

Exhilaration & Vulnerability
The square as a geometric figure is symbolic for what it can hold. It is, after all, a box and a box contains things and forms a strong boundary. This boundary provides definition as well as limitations. When the square is used for breaking boundaries there is the exhilaration of limitless space, and at the same time there is a vulnerability that exists until that new space is mapped out and new boundaries are set in place.

Boundaries
The trine aspect has much less focus on the body, whereas the square has a great deal of focus on the body. As spirit makes changes in your life the body has to make adjustments. The issues that come up are all about boundaries and exploration of new territory, and this makes the body uncomfortable in some cases and thrilled in others. The square aspect has the greatest impact upon our emotions and attitudes (body) and therefore brings about the most noticeable growth periods. Growing pains can be associated with the square aspect whereas ease of transition can be associated with the trine. The body won't notice the growth through trines nearly as much as it notices the growth through squares.

ASPECT: SQUARE OWNERSHIP: NO

Gloomy Cynic
When there is a lack of ownership for the square aspect then you can see a suspicious and untrusting nature emerge. The emotions associated with this side of the square aspect are those of cynicism and gloom, a thinly veiled covering for anger and resentment.

Push Those Buttons
The awareness that appears to be missing is the awareness that everything they seem to bump into is something of their own making. All their sensitive issues are lined up and lit up like dashboard buttons. Now, be honest, when you see someone all lit up haven't you always wanted to push those buttons just to see what would happen? You can bet that somebody will push them, one at a time, or all at once. Can the individual accept that the button is theirs in the first place and take steps towards ownership?

Putting On Airs
Because of the lack of ownership these people often put up a front that swaggers or displays an air of superiority. This is, of course, supposed to convince you, and in turn convince themselves that they are hot property. If they can't cajole you into supporting them in this way then you will soon see the anger surface.

Resistance
Resistance is another main feature of this square. Resistance is very personal and varies from person to person. Resistance is wanting to avoid the undesirable through effort and control. It's like trying to avoid someone by constantly looking over the shoulder and expecting to see them, but not wanting to. In this way a message is being sent - "Don't come in the room, stay away, I'm afraid you'll see me." If you heard the words, wouldn't you be curious and go see what's going on? On one level or another, people hear those words that are sent out, and yes, they often show up when they're called.

Your Compass
As with any aspect that lacks ownership, the energy is all about revealing just how and where ownership needs to be addressed. All the discomfort associated with the lack of ownership is not a punishment, it is a compass direction for getting back on course.

ASPECT: INCONJUNCT OWNERSHIP: YES

Healing
When this aspect is owned the ability to see clearly what needs healing is the main feature. There is a neutral attitude towards the issues that come up, issues that require a conscious focus for the healing process. There is no emotion associated with the ownership of this aspect unless having a clear head and sense of neutrality can be called emotional.

Adjustments
This aspect is a parallel to the body/spirit phenomenon. With this aspect the astrological "elements" are different and the "modes" of activity are different. As the body really doesn't understand the nature of spirit (since the body operates only in a material plane) there is the requirement of some alterations or adjustments to bring the body into alignment with the spirit. This happens in many ways, but through the ownership of the "inconjunct" aspect it takes place by means of clear sight as spirit. Another term for this is clairvoyance, or if you prefer, intuitive insight.

Simplicity
There is just three things to know about being spirit - simplicity, simplicity, and simplicity. Therefore, you might say that alignment of body and spirit is just a simple adjustment. Through seeing the issues clearly and becoming more aware, healing can take place to align body and spirit. In essence, it is a case of healing the spirit and the spirit will heal the body.

Neutrality
As the inconjunct takes place through signs that do not have an affinity for one another, nor do they clash with one another, it could be said that these signs are neutral in their relationship. This aspect is owned when a neutral awareness is achieved. It is the ability to look at your own emotions in a neutral manner without the usual investment you normally have attached to these emotions. It is a little like stepping slightly to one side and seeing things just a little off the usual angle or perspective. Any illness is simply a matter of having given up space. The inconjunct aspect provides a neutral insight (seeing) as to the issue and vulnerability in having given up that space

ASPECT: INCONJUNCT OWNERSHIP: NO

Blind Spot
The inconjunct, when it is not owned, reveals a puzzle or problem with only a partial view of the issues involved. There is a black or blank unknown area in the field of vision, which represents that part of the inconjunct which is not being owned. The emotion is fear of all that isn't seen, as well as being afraid to look.

Dis-ease
As a person fears to look at a disease (anything that is stressful is disease) it is very much like hiding one's head under the covers. Before long those blankets act as a depressing influence, and this soon leads to despair. The whole process is to create a situation that can no longer be ignored. As a spiritual being there is the ability to see clearly what is causing the disease, but the lack of ownership suggests that the whole thing is beyond help. In this case fear becomes the real enemy and corrodes the spiritual essence in the body. Frustration can trigger anger, and this anger can be a strong healing influence as it raises the life force energy.

Simple Procedure - Easier Said...
In that only part of the puzzle or problem is revealed it means that there is a hidden piece that needs to be found. To find this hidden piece requires that a person be able to see. To see, in this case, requires that the person be able to see through the neutral lens of the inconjunct aspect, and this requires ownership. It is simple, just like spirit is simple, but if one feels blind and helpless through fear it may seem far from simple.

Frantic Searching

When this aspect is not owned what seems to be available is all the factual and material information around illness, which may not entirely make sense or provide solutions. There is still the frantic searching for answers and trying one remedy after another. When all external avenues have been explored and no answers were found, it may be time to turn inward to the spiritual being we are and use that neutral clear sight (sixth chakra) to see the solution. What this aspect is all about is to get us to see.

ASPECT: SEXTILE OWNERSHIP: YES

Joy
Through the ownership of this aspect there is a love for the exchange of information. The type of information and the manner of the exchange is closely related to the planets, signs and houses involved. The emotion is that of joy.

Ability to Acquire
Information is not analytical by nature, but we often try to understand it through a mental process. For instance, a Venus Mars sextile can offer information about physical and sexual magnetism, and do you really think this information will be assimilated through an analytical process? The sextile does not actually represent mental skills any more than it represents emotional skills. It represents the ability to acquire information of any nature through a process of exchange.

Resourcefulness
When this aspect is owned there is a confident and buoyant attitude that is associated with the assimilation of information. The sextile is both teacher and student, and the classroom is life itself. One of the basic characteristics of owning this aspect is a sense of resourcefulness. The difference between the resourcefulness of the sextile from that of the trine is that the sextile is acquiring the information and the knowing comes from experience, whereas the trine knows on an intuitive level.

Playful Ingenuity
The joy of experimenting with various recipes is part of a curious intelligence that enjoys playing around with possibilities. The intelligence is not rated in intellectual terms, but reveals itself as an ingenuity that comes through the interpretation of emotional information as well as analytical information. These people have social skills to balance out their professional skills.

Sifting Information
People with a number of sextiles under ownership radiate an unmistakable intelligence where very little, if anything at all, gets past their keen awareness and ability to sift through information. After all, assimilating information is their bailiwick.

ASPECT: SEXTILE OWNERSHIP: NO

Doubt
When the sextile is not owned there is a lack of belief in one's ability to decipher meanings from experiences. The emotion is one of doubt, uncertainty and an awkward fear.

Correct or Incorrect
This side of the sextile reveals itself with all students when they just can't get something; and with all teachers when they just can't verbally convey their thoughts. There is a false assumption that goes along with the lack of ownership and that assumption is that there are correct and incorrect answers in the classroom of life. In this world emotions play the biggest role by far. In any emotional realm there are no correct answers... there is only your answer. Who knows better than you what your faculties are telling you? If your interpretation takes you in a certain direction then that is your approach to assimilating information. The sextile lacking ownership struggles to find documented answers as they are unsure of their own information.

Your Opinions Please
If the trust is not there for your own information then there is the tendency to rely on the information from another people. If I ask you for your opinion I really don't want to hear you relate how a local expert would interpret the situation. All the experiences that come up in life that are seeking your translations are just another exercise in getting yourself to own the sextile.

Your Own Expert
Too many times with this side of the sextile there is the searching for an analytical solution, and it often leads to frustration and self doubts. We have been trained to put a higher value on out intellect for solving our personal problems, but when the majority of our lives are related through emotions the analytical bandage does little good. I'm not suggesting that emotion is better than intellect, it's more the case of using what's appropriate. As an example: If someone just won't stop bugging you are you going to ask them for the 100th time very politely to leave you alone, or are you going to give them the LOOK and threaten their vital parts with injury. In the end you'll use what works for you, and you can let the experts scratch their heads in wonderment over your success.
