Watch the full moon cycle around Jan. 14 for a revival of plenty more than simply the political campaign trail. One way or another we'll all burn more fuel! Whether the Liberals are re-elected or not, EVERYONE is required to step up their game. (Thanks to Neptune , the election chart shows nothing is clear cut. A minority government is the only real certainty; watch for surprises.) While the coming year will surely see economic up and down cycles, overall it appears that things are on the upswing (yea for the Canadian dollar!) Mid-Feb. through the beginning of April stimulates plenty of action. April/May appears to be a vibrant, lucrative and secure time-frame for real estate, financial, family and home related matters. October brings another period of economic and overall confidence, while Jupiter's entrance into Sagittarius (an inflationary influence) late in November guarantees a bustling and lucrative end to the year. With so much to humble us all, humanitarianism, global/environmental consciousness and spirituality have never been so omnipresent. We'll all continue to put these essentials into greater daily practice – of course, there really isn't any other choice, is there?

ARIES (MAR 21 - APR 19)

Is it more of the same? Not for your sign, especially once this six month tour of Mars through slow-moving Taurus completes (by mid-Feb.). Use January to design a new attitude and give it a test run. Jupiter's one year tour through Scorpio (which started last October) has signed you up for a major overhaul in the two most important areas of life – love and money. Achievement planet Saturn's continuing tour through Leo is an empowering and supportive influence, so by all means put on those overalls marked “ambition” and paint some rainbows! Rewards are based on merit, so if you have been steadily building all along, great. If you haven't, you still have some available prep time - get a move on! Note that the start of the year is not a good time for a risk-taking dive or for speculative financial moves. Wait until the end of March onward for better prospects and opportunities. Relationship advancement (new love, the next level up in a committed relationship, or even calling it quits) is activated from the start of the year - especially once Venus turns direct, beginning of February. Be receptive to embracing a new lifestyle. Put yourself in the passenger's seat and see how it goes. By the end of September you'll know where you stand with much greater certainty. Jupiter's one-year tour of Sagittarius (starting late Nov.) finishes your year with plenty to celebrate and plenty more to anticipate.

TAURUS (APR 20 - MAY 20)

Make your New Year's resolutions and get ready to puff out your chest. Your sign is one that can truly beat the odds, thanks to a heightened degree of motivation provided by both Mars and Venus in dynamic position through mid- February (and beyond). As a matter of fact, the relationship duo will work very well for you for most of this year. Along with Jupiter's one year tour through “face it head-on” Scorpio, you are set up for a major renovation. The gift of this transformational planetary backdrop encourages a growing confidence in your self and your future prospects, which in turn will create steady advancement/achievement in all relationship categories. You will be given plenty of latitude and opportunity, so recognize the only risk of loss deals with losing that which is no longer serving your better interests. Whatever you do, don't hold on tight to your status quo. (It won't work anyway.) Experiment with the “new you” and welcome change with both arms opened wide. The end of March/beginning of April brings a huge threshold for relationships and financial development. End of August/beginning of September is also a key time-frame for revamping the structures, both personally (a change within the home or a change of residence is quite possible) and professionally (look around – sky's the limit!)

GEMINI (MAY 20 - JUN 20)

You are entering a productive turnaround year, especially when it comes to health and work-related matters. You'll easily find more “stick-to-it-ive-ness” especially in the first six weeks of the year, so don't waste a minute - toss the bad habits and employ the good ones! Quit smoking, stop drinking, start dieting and shape-up, not only with a dedicated “back to the gym” routine, but with a conscientious upgrade to your everyday performance as well. Do it now, and guaranteed, you'll love the new person you'll be by springtime. End of March/beginning of April will offer something new and pull you through a huge developmental time frame. If you have worked hard to set a stage, life can become very exciting and full of reward. Relationships can grow tremendously; investments can escalate beautifully. If you have resisted addressing the bottom line essentials, you could be confronted by a challenging restructuring period that may force you into a parting of the ways. Even so, by May it appears that life has made you a good offer by leading you to a better comfort zone/greater security. A change to your finances or work set-up looks positive. This can also be a time to invest more heavily in real estate, educational or entrepreneurial pursuits. August is your best vacation month. The end of the summer brings another key period for renovations and adjustments. Jupiter's entrance into Sagittarius brings 2006 to a big finish line (or rather a huge new start). Play it right by keeping ambitious and active all year and by December it appears you'll have plenty to celebrate!

CANCER (JUNE 21 ~ JULY 21)

Venus starts the year in retrograde, which can help you to both rekindle your passions and to build upon your previous successes. Focus the first quarter of this year on shaping up your financial and emotional security base, and get serious about your health too. While you could get a dynamic preview at the beginning of April, the true start of your year will come mid-month when Mars enters your sign, launching a whole new abundance program. With Jupiter and Uranus also blessing your chart, spring brings a great time to initiate a new creative project or business, to relocate, to welcome new love, or even to buy a lottery ticket. It appears the stars will also deliver good news to graduates seeking to make their professional debut. By the end of August, you could be leaving it all behind or you'll simply slip into the next developmental phase. (Don't take financial risks until you truly see which way the wind is blowing.) Re. work, finances, studies or health, October's stars help you to surpass a transition point and to arrive at a successful plateau. Mars in Scorpio will boost your love life and help you to make further strides in child-rearing and/or embracing parenthood, and through creative/entrepreneurial endeavours.

LEO (JUL 23 - AUG 22)

Even though Mars is primed to forge ahead, it could be mid-January before you'll feel ready to plunge back into the full swing (or find the right opening to do so). Venus retrogrades through the beginning of February, which brings a time to regroup, recoup, and replenish the coffers. January through mid- February gifts you with an extra margin to complete unfinished business and move toward a financial, health or work goal. (Dropping the extra weight could be a slower than usual go – be patient!). Don't waste your set-up time. Make full use of it. By mid-February you'll see the pace pick up just as you are ready to rock and roll. March may see backtracking (due to Mercury's retrograde cycle) but by mid-April you'll have plenty to write home about - or perhaps you'll have/own a new home! Saturn continuing through your sign can add a more serious spin to your ambitions and put more weight on your shoulders. Still, you are singled out for special rewards this year (and more importantly next year) so know that the extra effort will prove worthwhile. It's all or nothing in the relationship department as the influence of Chiron in Aquarius lifts you into the stratosphere or conversely, shows you the flashing exit sign. On a larger scale, it's quite possible that you'll find yourself (or your talents/productions) in higher public demand/profile. February brings a time to travel and promote. June takes you through turning points or breaking points (financial, emotional, physical), endings and new beginnings. End of November through December brings the highpoint - and most profitable timeframe of the entire year.

VIRGO (AUG 23 - SEPT 22)

If you need more confirmation or confidence before you finally take that big leap of faith, Venus in retrograde through January will help you to find it. As a matter of fact, the year begins on a very encouraging note for your sign, so by all means, take the initiative (especially mid-month onward) and make it happen for yourself. This is a good month for strengthening the bonds of love. It's also a good month for financial speculation, legal affairs, citizenship issues, visas, etc., travel for business or pleasure and for specialization/educational upgrades or boosting your public profile. Take on new tasks, implement new procedures or investigate alternative health avenues. If it's new, it's probably good for you. Put theories, ambitions and dreams into tangible form and manifest as much as you can in these first two months, while Venus and Mars, touring complimentary earth signs, aid you with easy success. March will bring an adjustment month, with plenty of new potential and thresholds to cross, many of them exciting and surprising, while some of them can be challenging and confusing – especially with Mercury retrograde lifting one veil only to create another one. The more solidly you set it up for yourself before this time, the better you'll be able to ride out the confusion, uncertainty or doubt. By April/May you'll be happily back into trusting your abundance and inner wisdom. These are great months for your social life too! Mars enters your sign July 23, with mid-August through the beginning of September showing as yet another powerful time for fresh starts, especially re. a new home or home life. Your work becomes easier (amassing money/the daily grind, feeling good about yourself, taking care of your health, enjoying your social life) October through November. December increases family joys and concerns, and can see home value or expenses/cost of living on an escalation curve.

LIBRA (SEP 23 - OCT 22)

Jupiter may have left your sign last October, but the benefits will continue through this year, growing stronger by year's end and into next year. January through mid-February is time to keep going “as is” while adding to the program when opportunity shows itself. In other words, “go with the flow” and don't force issues. Mid-February through mid-April is a time to cut yourself loose (financially, romantically) and/or set yourself free (dare to chase your dream, open your own business, or embrace new love). With Mercury retrograde in the middle of all this, you could find yourself on a job search (or a strike). Still, when one door gets muddled, another more glorious one appears. While others may see you as overly idealistic or trusting, sometimes you simply need to turn a “blind eye” to doubt. Transitions appear to be easily accomplished, so branch out and try your luck! Professionally and financially, your stars look quite good in the spring. Keep it lively in July, hide out in August. Take action and put your ideas to work for you mid-September when Mars (supported by Mercury and Venus too) enter your sign to launch you on a brand new two year abundance cycle. October brings success and reward, socially, professionally, and financially. Revamp and refortify finances and ambitions in November, sell/profit and celebrate like crazy through December.

SCORPIO (OCT 23 - NOV 21)

The full moon week mid-January will put your life into fast motion, perhaps unexpectedly. Watch what – or who – shows up (or reappears). Although there may be guesswork, by the last two weeks of the month you'll feel glad you reacted as quickly as you did. March can put you through a transition cycle, keeping you busy on both ends of finishing off and beginning anew. Mercury's retrograde tour suggests reconnections are wonderfully rejuvenating and that you can use your previous successes as a lucrative springboard. A change of residence, a renovation, or the money chase is likely to consume your total attention. Opportune/peak stars in mid-April through May serve it up just right, so by all means book your promotional tour, debut, vacation, or honeymoon. End of August through October will show you that you can't sit back and stay satisfied. It will be time to take it up yet another notch. Jupiter's tour in your sign opens plenty of opportunity and creates a wonderful personal growth cycle. When Jupiter enters Sagittarius (late November through 2007) you will be positioned to cash in even more!

SAGITTARIUS (NOV 22 - DEC 21)

Your year can start with a stable plateau, but don't expect to sit still for long! Mid-January can uncover/activate much; by the time Mars enters Gemini mid- February, you'll really be on the move. Relationships will see rapid development, so too home circumstances. Watch for a new place to be, a new inspiration, or something sudden and surprising around March 1. Mercury's retrograde cycle in March brings an ideal time for a vacation, but if you find yourself uprooted or in limbo, know that things will have a way of working out – rapidly, and probably even better than you could have imagined. Know that you don't have to grab at straws/settle for less. The beginning of April brings yet another activity spurt. Whether it's the relationship arena or a positioning on the honours roll, on the playing field, the boardroom, or in the courtroom, the competition can get fierce, so plan to step up your game. Act fast and by mid- to end of April you'll settle into a nice groove (emotionally and materially). The repositioning you have done in the spring will give you plenty to work with/on by fall. If you haven't gotten yourself far enough down the road, the end of August/beginning of September is a time to tweak it, to add to the program, or to revamp it altogether. Jupiter returns to your sign at the end of November, enticing your passion for adventure with an exciting new twelve-year map!

CAPRICORN (DEC 22 - JAN 19)

With attention-getter Venus on an extended stay through your sign, and Mars in Taurus to empower you (and to add greatly to your sex appeal and love life!) it appears your year is getting off to a great start. Daily life – including your work and social life – will keep at a stimulating level through spring. There'll be plenty of new things to think about, to talk about, to learn and to do, especially with Jupiter's ongoing influence expanding and inspiring your creativity, wish list and hopefulness. A new job, schedule or incentive could appear at the end of March/beginning of April. Revamp your diet and health regime through this first quarter of the year, and watch the good it does for you by mid-spring. May can bring you before the public in some way. It's a great month for creating big strides in studies or in your career and it's also a synchronistic month for your social life and love life. Mars in Virgo (end of July through beginning of September) can put you into a delightful play or travel cycle, but if you choose to be ambitious and apply yourself, you'll gain tremendously. Finances/financial prospects appear on the upswing in the fall. Jupiter's entrance into Sagittarius shines the prosperity light not only on your material abundance, but also into your passionate heart, helping you to tap more deeply into your reservoir of true wealth.

AQUARIUS (JAN 20 - FEB 18)

There's little to do as this year starts, other than adopt a “wait and see” attitude until mid-January, when circumstances will play themselves out (re. a home or family/parenting decision or professional move). Mid-February to mid-April, as Mars moves into Gemini (a complimentary air sign) you'll be better primed to take the positive initiative. Still, with Neptune highly activated in your sign, it's a lengthy cycle of learning to give up control or expectations, to have faith in the larger scheme of things, and, more importantly, in yourself and your creative abilities. In other words, GO WITH THE FLOW, and make full use of every moment/every opportunity. This is no small feat of course, especially when reality looms so large, and anchors or solid answers seem lacking. Positively, Neptune can help you to be a trendsetter, so by all means take personal risks. Despite the uncertainties, you won't come up empty-handed. Uranus and Jupiter (and Venus) aid your finances, especially March through May. If you miss one opportunity, it appears there's another right behind it. Watch the beginning and end of March/beginning of April for plenty of action! You might have to “tough it out” (financially, circumstantially) around the end of August, but by mid- September you'll squeeze over an important hurdle. October's a smoother sail. Jupiter's entrance into Sagittarius ends the year on a positive high note!

i PISCES (FEB 19 - MAR 20)

You have been in a major restructuring cycle for the past couple of years, and it probably feels like there has been no let-up! Yes, it's been overwhelming, but if you look at your achievements to date, you'll see that you are steadily gaining ground. Jupiter's one year tour through Scorpio provides you with plenty of potential, vision, courage and clout. These first couple of weeks can be time to take it slow, but mid-January will be the time to jump back into action. Mars in Gemini (mid-Feb through mid-April) can keep you busy with house-hunting, renovating, new living arrangements, a home-based business, or with moving ahead on a personal goal. You may be confronted with a major professional, household, or personal decision around the end of March/beginning of April. However you decide to play it, April and May bring a smooth sail. Thinking of selling a home or acquiring a business? Good idea. This is a particularly rewarding time for romance, pregnancy/child rearing, creative or entrepreneurial enterprises, travel and education. Health, professional and work-related activities are likely to be at a nice plateau by the end of August/beginning of September, but expect to put a lot of extra attention out toward others around this time (those you love, those you compete against and those you need on your side). October/November offers a good cycle for furthering your education, for business travel, and for partnering up - for money or for love! Jupiter's progress into Sagittarius late November through 2007 will fly you higher through yet another professional and personal expansion cycle.
