Dear Astrological Friends,

Greetings to you and your family, and I hope that this mid-Summer missive finds you in good health and in good spirits. I have just returned from Lafayette, Colorado where, at the inferior conjunction of retrograde Mercury and the Sun in 13 Leo, which exactly conjoined my progressed Midheaven, I recorded a 2006 Sun Sign Insights & Forecasts CD with my friend and colleague, Sandra-Leigh Serio. I am publishing the classic book on transit cycles, Cycles of Becoming by Alexander Ruperti. The book is at the printer now, and its second edition publication date is August 17th. A pre-publication discount offer will be found below.

I have begun to write my fifth book, Astrology: A Language of Life, Volume V - Holographic Transits. I am requesting research volunteers to share their birth data, and more details about this book and its research are included below.

2) Request for Research Volunteers for Volume V

I am writing my fifth book now, Astrology: A Language of Life, Volume V - Holographic Transits. In this volume, I am hoping to take transit technique from the fourth dimension of cycle theory into the fifth dimension of holographic replication of the birth patterns. With this evolving transit technique, the angular distance of the Sun to each of your planets at birth is measured to the degree, minute and second of arc. These distance arcs from your Sun to your other natal bodies then repeat themselves in the heavens monthly with the Moon, about every four months with Mercury, in a little over a year annually with Jupiter through Pluto, about every 19 months with Venus, and about every 26 months with Mars. When the Sun and the other planets return to the precise angular separation in the heavens that they have in your nativity, a Synodic Return Chart can be cast. This is the underlying foundation for my new book on Holographic Transits.

Many astrologers, including this writer, already use the Sun-Moon Phase Return charts. I have prepared these horoscopes for wives who wished to conceive a child with their husband, as this monthly chart pegs the day and hour when the woman is likely to be ovulating. I have even had a few children named after me because a previously barren couple, who, in some cases were even using fertility drugs without success, were now able to conceive after being given this timing information by me.

Volume V will take this phase return technique and apply it to all of the other Sun-Planet relationships. The interplanetary phase return charts will also be included in the book, such as Mercury-Venus holographic transits, Mars-Jupiter, and so on. I believe that astrology has taken transit cycle theory as far as it can go, having reached its pinnacle of understanding in the writings of Alan Leo, C.E.O. Carter, Dane Rudhyar, Grant Lewi, Alexander Ruperti and Robert Hand. Now, it is time to move transit technique forward into the 21st century. This fifth dimension, which is comprised of planetary holograms and solar spatial patterns, awaits us all. I invite you to join me on this trip into the deeper geometric dimensions of our solar system.

I am asking for research volunteers to provide their birth data for my new book. If you choose to participate, please email with your birth data and write "Volume V Research" in the subject field. I will calculate your nativity, choosing one of your Sun-planet or interplanetary distance arcs. I will then calculate the last few Synodic Return Charts or Planetary Pair Phase Return Charts for when this birth pattern repeated as a hologram in the heavens during the last several years. I will ask you to provide stories of your life experiences at these times. In this way, an interpretive body of case studies can be built to underpin my theoretical and metaphysical assumptions for the book. Any personal stories used in Volume V will appear anonymously.

4) 2006 Sun Sign Insights & Forecasts CD with Sandra-Leigh Serio

On Thursday, August 4th I flew to Denver to stay at the home of Sandra-Leigh Serio and her husband, Dean in Lafayette, Colorado. The purpose of this trip was to record with my friend and colleague, Sandra-Leigh, a CD of Sun Sign Insights for the 12 signs, written by her, and 2006 Forecasts for all 12 signs, written by this astrologer. Under the benign rays of the inferior conjunction of retrograde Mercury and the Sun on August 5th, all 24 digital sound tracks were recorded and our CD was born. This inferior conjunction fell exactly to the degree on my progressed Midheaven in 13 Leo, and was exactly trine to her Venus in 13 Sagittarius.

Sandra-Leigh and I both attended the OPA Retreat in Santa Fe, New Mexico a little over a month ago. Having been assigned to the same group during the retreat, after our last group session we came out of the room and began to talk about doing a project together. About 8-10 minutes later we shook hands and the deal was sealed. Looking at my watch, it was 4:18 PM MDT in La Cienega, New Mexico on 3 July 2005. Remarkably, or shall I say divinely, the 20th degree of Scorpio was rising, the exact degree of Sandra-Leigh's Part of Fortune. 6) Crisis for George W. Bush: His Progressed First Quarter Lunation Phase

On August 26th, President Bush arrives at the waxing square of his secondary progressed Luminaries. His progressed Moon will be in the 11th degree of Sagittarius as this entry into the progressed First Quarter phase occurs. As this writer reported in his 15 Aquarius newsletter from last February, the symbols for this degree look absolutely dreadful.

From La Volasfera, we have:
A tiger crouching as in the act of assault.

And from Charubel, for Sagittarius 11 we find:
A lion standing alone with tail erect and in the act of running towards a panther.

The Sabian Symbol from Marc Jones' Lecture~Lessons:
An ugly old human figure is the carved representation of a god;
near the left side is an ever-burning lamp.

It is commonly perceived by astrologers that one's progressed lunation cycle First Quarter square is a time of crisis. For Mr Bush, this is additionally evident from the fact that Pluto turns direct on September 2nd while holding a stationary Mutable Grand Cross to his progressed Ascendant, Descendant, Midheaven and Uranus. Shortly afterward, transit Saturn conjoins his natal Ascendant on September 11th, of all dates. On that fateful day for Mr Bush, as the Reaper finally emerges from his 12th house, the Moon also reaches the degree of the Pluto station, Sagittarius 22.

Whether these degree symbols are showing the end for the president through a fatal manifestation of Tecumseh's Curse, or that he himself will authorize the launch of a surprise and sudden military strike against either Iran's or North Korea's nuclear facilities, I cannot say. However, it is clear that with transit Uranus opposing both his natal Mars and his progressed Sun, and all of these bodies being triggered by his progressed Moon, and with his progressed Mars having entered the degree of his natal Moon, Mr Bush is now operating with some fateful, violent and unpredictable forces within and around him.

In the heavens on August 26th, as his progressed First Quarter square perfects, there is also a tight Fixed T-Cross, comprised of Mercury opposing Neptune in the power degrees of 15 Leo-Aquarius, and both squared by Mars in the power degree of 15 Taurus. Something drastic appears to be about to happen, and one can only watch and wait.

7) Fixed Grand Crosses on the Horizon: Mars-Jupiter-Saturn-Neptune

As we draw nearer to the significant Jupiter-Saturn squares and Saturn-Neptune oppositions forming over the next two years, the astrologer can see that, with Mars stationing retrograde in Taurus, several Fixed Grand Crosses are preparing to align in the heavens. The two most compelling of these Fixed Crosses will appear at the Winter Ingress on December 21st, where it is angular in Washington, D.C., and then again on December 27th when Mars perfects his square with Saturn, where again the Cross is angular in Washington.

In the former mundane horoscope, the Lunar Nodes slice an Earth-Water Mystic Rectangle right down the middle, creating two Tetradic Yods with the Moon, Mars, Jupiter and Uranus. In the latter mundane horoscope, the Sun applies to a sextile with Uranus, and is in the process of forming a Yod with a rising Saturn as the apex planet. With the Capricorn Ingress chart having impact on the whole of 2006, and with Mars rising and the Fixed Cross in angular houses, next year looks to be especially violent for the USA. This correspondent has written for years about the USA progressed Mars turning retrograde for the first time in American history in July of 2006. Just nine days ago on July 29th this USA Mars reached its progressed stationary degree and minute, 18 Libra 42, which is the exact degree of President Bush's natal Jupiter.

The last time that Mars was entirely retrograde within the sign of Taurus (not stationing either direct or retrograde in Aries or Gemini) was in 1926, the year that Ibn Saud became King of Saudi Arabia. It is no small coincidence that his son, the late King Fahd, reigning since 1982, has just died on August 1st. As I wrote in the 15 Taurus newsletter, with the recent Saturn ingress into Leo, many Heads of State, such as kings, presidents and prime ministers, will die or be assassinated over the next two years.

Also during this previous retrograde period of Mars in Taurus, a weakening of several national banking systems occurred, leading to the 1927 "Black Friday" in Germany, when that country's economic system collapsed. This event started a global ripple effect that eventually resulted in the 1929 stock market crash in the U.S. Here and now in the United States, we have an untenable banking situation, one wherein more than half of the new home mortgage loans are of the interest only variety, and tens of thousands more are being loaned with zero money down.

The American banking system cannot sustain this unsound fiscal policy, largely driven by the economic insanity of Internet mortgage brokers who approve home loans with no personal financial history, or with no personal identification being required at the time of the loan application. This combination of Mars spending almost seven months (27 July 2005 to 17 February 2006) in the financial and banking sign of Taurus, along with the transit of Saturn through the USA Sibly chart 8th house until July of 2007, ruling bankruptcies and loan defaults, symbolizes hard financial times ahead. Many Americans will suffer from the looming real estate market crash, winding up with homes worth less than their mortgages. This could result in the declaration of personal bankruptcy by tens of thousands of U.S. homeowners, and leave the banks with their hands full of countless vacated homes caused by defaulted mortgages.

8) Saturn Inconjunct Uranus: Revisiting the Cycle's 1988 Conjunction

On September 21st, Saturn forms the first of three waxing inconjuncts with Uranus; the middle and final aspects in this series perfecting on 19 January 2006, and on 31 July 2006. This 44-year cycle began with three conjunctions of these two celestial bodies in 1988, the first conjunction in February being in the anaretic 30th degree of Sagittarius, the sign of world religions.

Later that year, less than a month after the third and final conjunction in October, a key world event occurred, and one that has shaped history ever since, the Declaration of Palestinian Independence on 15 November 1988. Saturn was dignified in the Cardinal Ingress degree of 0 Capricorn, just one degree after separating from his last conjunction with Uranus. Mars in Aries was squaring Saturn, and along with a void-of-course Moon, prophesied the frustrating attempts at the unlikely creation of a Palestinian State.

This cycle principally underpins the War on Islamic Terrorism, as the plight of the Palestinian people and their struggle with Israel has been a flash point for violent Muslim radicals from all over the world. We can learn from the eminent French mundane astrologer, Andre Barbault, how the energies of such a planetary cycle can be understood. Mr Barbault's mundane analysis of outer planetary cycles is as following:

conjunction = the current is born
sextile = it takes shape
square = becomes a crisis or an internal conflict
trine = asserts itself and takes wing
opposition = fights or is fought, and meets a final challenge, during which it either surpasses itself or regresses

Applying Mr Barbault's cycle theory to the crisis in the Middle East, and to the global War on Terrorism, one sees that now, at these waxing inconjuncts of Saturn with Uranus, we are observing a period of history wherein the movement has already asserted itself and taken wing, but is yet to face its showdown, which will come during the five violent Saturn-Uranus oppositions between November 2008 and July 2010. The final opposition is part of a massive Cardinal T-Cross which can be seen as part of the Biblical End Times. It is also of note that Pluto will be in the 30th degree of Sagittarius in November 2008 when Saturn reaches its first opposition with Uranus, exactly the degree of the Saturn-Uranus conjunction on 12 February 1988.

One significant manifestation of the current Saturn-Uranus inconjunct is an evacuation of Israeli settlements in the Gaza strip and a northern portion of the West Bank, scheduled to begin on August 15th, the day of the direct station of Mercury. The nature of the waxing 150 degree aspect is that it requires an adjustment to a conflict-producing situation. This is exactly what the Israeli government is trying to accomplish with its Gaza Pullout. But will it be a peaceful solution? It does not appear possible to this astrologer.

The retrograde station of Mars on October 1st in 23 Taurus will be in stationary conjunction with the Israeli national Sun, and in stationary opposition to the Palestinian Sun in the November 1988 chart. It looks to be a very violent Fall in the Middle East. This station of Mars cast for Tel Aviv, has 27 Cancer-Capricorn for its horizon, with the USA Pluto exactly conjunct its Descendant.

A possible scenario about to unfold is an escalation of hostilities breaking out between Israel and the violent Palestinian factions, such as Hamas and Islamic Jihad, when Israel pulls out of the Gaza strip. Further instability may break out in the region because of mortar attacks on the settlers who are vacating. The U.S. could then be drawn into the escalating violence between Israel and the Palestinians.

There are two Yods in the stationary Mars horoscope, one of which is a rare Tetradic Yod containing Venus in exact opposition to Mars, with both inconjunct to the Jupiter-Pluto sextile. The second Yod has Uranus as its apex planet, with a Sun-Saturn sextile at its base. It appears that late September and early October will be a very violent time in the ongoing Middle East conflict. The Sun on the day of the Mars retrograde station is in the exact degree of the Palestinian Ascendant, and square to its Neptune and IC. There is also the strong possibility of fighting breaking out between the various Palestinian factions for control of Gaza.
