The Guild was founded October 17, 1991 and presents an astrological talk or program on the second Thursday of each month, summer break July and August. We also offer 3-4 workshops each year. See below for the latest information or use the adjacent menu to browse the site.
Stephanie J. Clement will be at the Guild for two evening lectures and an all-day workshop. Stephanie has authored numerous books on astrology, her most recent one on the Aspect Patterns. The workshop will be on the The Astrology of Development. The early bird registration deadline is August 14, 2008. The fee for the workshop is $90 to members and $70 to senior members. This talk was not recorded, as our recorder decided not to work; perhaps we bought it with Mercury Rx. Diana has promised to write an article for the Guild News should you have missed the talk. We will have two workshops on our schedule for this Autumn-- September 2008 and November 2008. See the side bar, our schedule page or visit the page on workshops. Information updated to reflect schedule change March 17, 2008.
In 2008, we have four major events—four international speakers will be in town to present two talks and a workshop each. Mark your calendars: May 8-10, June 12-14, September 11-13 and November 13-15, 2008. After our Summer break, in September, Stephanie J. Clement, author of ten astrology books, will be presenting two talks and a workshop at the Guild. In November, Chris McRae from Edmonton will be in Vancouver to present two talks and a workshop, and administering the ISAR competency exam on the Sunday. Chris is also lecturing at UAC next Spring. It is exciting to have so many world-class astrologers right here in town over the next year,
Each workshop to non-members $110, Members $90 and Senior members $70. Early bird discounts available. The Thursday night lecture has a drop-in fee of $8 (non-members) and the Friday night talk drop-in fee for non-members is $20. Members pay $10.
