Jupiter in Virgo

AstrolinkJupiter in Virgo, August 27, 2003 through September 25, 2004

Jupiter in Virgo, retrograde, Jan. 3, 2004 through May 4, 2004

Call it the grand "kick start". Jupiter's entrance into Virgo is augmented by dynamic contributing planetary energies. In an exceptionally rare position, Mars travels closest to the earth for the first time in 60,000 years. Through September, Mars (in retrograde travel) is also getting a sizzling jolt from "lightening strikes when you least expect it" Uranus. Facing self, facing other, facing the elements. Head on, dead on. Fires rage - inwardly, outwardly - physically, materially and spiritually. Off to a dramatic start, the purging process is proving to be a truly a humbling experience for many.

Separating the chafe from the wheat, it's a time of cutting away the debris and stripping down to the core. What's real, what's rich, what's essential, what's not contributing? Mars is a big/bigger player now, enlarged in both our visual sky and in our consciousness at this moment in time. Astrologically speaking, Mars is known as the "lower octave" (denser vibration) of Pluto. Representing the leading edge or cutting edge of the soul's evolutionary mandate, Warrior god is set to high task by the desires of Underworld god. On the day that Jupiter enters the sign of Virgo (Aug. 27, 2003), Pluto turns from retrograde to direct motion. While this planetary occurrence may not be experienced as an actual event, this dynamic energetic force is not to be underrated. A further unleashing process is begun. What comes next? This stage pumps even more "higher octane" fuel into an already blazing launch cycle. A potent mix? Most definitely. Even so, it is still a preliminary set up stage. The stars bring a continuous "stacking the deck" - both dousing and stoking the fires until Mars reaches direct motion September 27th onward. Blowing the lid time? Either you'll find great momentum to set your soul ablaze, or you could feel like you are being shot out of a cannon. In the sign of Pisces through Dec. 16, a steaming "hotbed" will continue. It's both a culmination and seeding process through to the end of the year.

Sounding dramatic? It is. Mars in Pisces brings a "full to overflowing" saturation experience. Jupiter (sky's the limit) enlarges everything. And Jupiter in Virgo excels at finding needles in the haystack. Add surprise package and "off the beaten path" planet Uranus to the equation and guess what? Everything and anything goes - and at lightening speed too. Exceptional and opportune times are before you. You can do no better than to submerge yourself in the here and now. Surrender to the experience. Don't succumb. Rise high, higher, highest.
