Developing Relationships in a Global Community
Venus always represents personal values throughout the year and where you find yourself emphasizing these values. On March 2nd Venus enters Aquarius and the new Moon occurs in Pisces. Aquarius represents friends and organizations while Pisces represents caring and compassion. During this time period, you may want to consider donating to charity organizations either through volunteering or cash. While the Venus energy may turn your thoughts toward evaluating the organizations you volunteer for, the new Moon energy may draw your focus to helping others.
With the new Moon in the fifth house, this is also a time to think of creative ways to play with your children. Spring will be coming soon and getting out of the house can increase your personal energy. Thinking about sports and exercise can also be a good thing at this time. Mars entering Capricorn and Mercury entering Pisces on March 4th also supports the need to do things for your physical health.
On March 10th, Uranus enters Pisces. This is a new cycle that occurs approximately every 84 years. Uranus stays in the sign until March 11, 2011. However, the major emphasis of this energy can be seen during the first three years. It is an interesting time period because Uranus represents organizations and social changes while Pisces represents spiritual values and humanistic ideals. During this time period, you'll see more humanitarian approaches to issues. You'll find concern for the weak sectors of society increasing. You see more use of different therapies, such as massage therapy or Reiki, as healing modalities. The League of Nations was formed during this cycle. Simultaneously, the United States went through prohibition and ratified the 19th amendment giving women the right to vote. Europe started the Common Market during this cycle.
When Uranus enters Pisces more people feel the need to be part of a larger community. If personal values and concern for individuals is placed in humanitarian concepts, a lot can be accomplished that brings the world together. While the League of Nations technically failed, it actually formed the basis for the United Nations and the International World Court. The concept was good: Nations working together for peace. Prohibition, however, failed because a small group of individuals tried to force their moral beliefs on a larger population that didn't have those same ethics. Instead of building a good foundation for the world, it lead to increased criminal activity and violence.
You'll see the world "grow smaller" during the next three years. Wireless technology will give you more opportunity to stay in touch with your friends and family, both here in the United States and other nations. Information regarding political and economic activities in other countries will enable you to understand people from different cultures. You'll find an opportunity to increase your tolerance for different cultures. Your children will find themselves in a time period where they can travel to new and exciting places from the comfort of their homes. This cycle is really an exciting one to be in.
When the full Moon occurs on March 18th, you see relationships change. Those individuals who can't give you compassion and understanding will start falling out of your life. People who are important to you will want to keep in touch. Again, spend time enjoying the outdoors now that spring is almost here. Moving around and taking care of your health is very important.
The next astrological year begins on March 20, 2003 when the Sun enters Aries, the Vernal Equinox chart. This beginning marks the overall energy of the astrological year from March 20, 2003 to March 19, 2004. Libra is on the ascendant of the Vernal Equinox chart. Throughout the year, you'll find that your relationships are important. For the federal government, alliances with other countries become more important. Again, our universe is growing smaller. Finding ways to work together is even more important during this year. Marriages will increase. The desire to have families will increase.
Economically it will still be difficult. Companies need to develop new alliances to increase their profits so that jobs aren't lost. Using your credit cards to pay bills will be easier, but the credit card companies may try to increase their interest rates. This could cause problems. This is a good time for you to review your budget and do the best you can to decrease your credit cared debt. This is especially emphasized as Mercury moves into Aries on March 21st.
As Pluto turns stationary retrograde on March 23rd, you may hear rumblings of military actions or new cabinet positions being considered by the federal government. However, information regarding any new political power structures won't be revealed until August 28, 2003. There will also be laws regarding changes in corporate structures that won't be revealed until August 28, 2003. One of the biggest considerations will be laws that deal with corporate monopolies.
On a personal basis, this is a good time, especially with Venus entering
Pisces on March 27th, to see what type of foundations you have in your life.
Make certain that you take time for healthy endeavors, both physical and mental.
Review your finances and budget. Do the best you can to lower your bills,
especially the credit card debts. And, while there may be some tax changes,
they won't be as beneficial as initially hoped for. If at all possible, put
some money into savings. The stock market, however, will still be erratic.
