Change
by Jane Frederick
Sleepless nights and lonely days
Living in a world of dreams and fantasies
Trying to walk the hours away
How I hate reality.
I am tired of work, of people counting on
me
Tired of being owned, I want to be free
Free to travel, Free to stay
Whatever I do, it will be my way.
I need to find some meaning to my life
To find happiness instead of strife
To have fun, there's something I've never had
To throw caution to the wind, be a little bad.
To laugh, to sing, to dance
And perhaps somewhere by chance
I'll find a friend to share these things with
Though I know happiness can only come from within.
Jane felt this was her 8th house talking,
her 8th is ruled by Pisces. She shared her poem with me at
the break during Brendas talk about the eight house,
and what it is we need to let go of during this our current
life.
Thank you, Jane, for sharing this poem with our members.
