The Midheaven is the first point we calculate in an astrological chart, and often the last thing we consider in delineation. It reveals your potential for self-awareness and how you come to understand yourself. The lecture will include a definition of the Midheaven in terms of astronomy and, more importantly, what the Midheaven reveals astrologically. Perhaps the most sensitive point in the natal chart, the Midheaven addresses how we think, how we learn about ourselves and how we are affected by events in our live. The opposite point the IC reflects your deepest well of inner resources for creativity and spiritual experience. This polarity is a valuable source of information about who you truly are. Bring your own charts and be prepared to be challenged!
Do you ever have a client whose chart just doesn't click with the dates of major events? We all have clients who don't know their birth times. We even have the occasional client who is unsure of the day or the year. Even birth certificate times are subject to question who set the clock? Who checked the time after the baby was born? Did a few minutes go by?
The traditionally labor intensive task of rectification has been made much easier through the introduction of computer software. This workshop focuses on how to make the best use of your software to discover a birth time that more accurately reflects events in your clients' lives, and in your own. Based on the birth chart and event dates, you will learn easy ways to estimate the birth time, and then to zero in on the exact birth time.
If you are working on your own birth time, bring charts with natal, solar arc, secondary progressions and transits for several events (Events that occurred on specific days in different years). We may not have time to look at all of them, but you will learn how to apply the method to your clients' charts and to your own. Drop in fee $10 for members/$20 non-members.
Astrological cycles can be used to mark just about every developmental process experienced in a lifetime. This talk explores the phase cycles of the planets, not aspects between two planets, and relates those cycles to child and adult developmental processes. Using your software, you can create your personal developmental timetable, using transits and secondary progressions. The lecture explores how the timetable validates astrology and clarifies why some people face very different timing of developmental processes.
When registering, provide birthdata for complimentary listing of cycles for your chart. If information is received after September 8, 2008 we cannot guarantee that you will have a complete listing. To ensure that you have this information plan to submit date before that date.
Fee for workshops $90; $70 if signed up by July 15 or sign up for all four 2008 workshops and Friday night talks for $275. Foru workshops for $250. Senior rates available for members who are 60 years of age.
