Straight Stars

JULY 28 – AUGUST 3 – 2005

The mother of all weekends arrives baring a Pandora’s Box full of every manner of thing for us to partake of. Take a hint and get to where you’re going in fine and safe fashion and settle down and enjoy the show. Oh yes, you can bank on it that the camp grounds will be full and most of us will be seeking some type of relaxation and fun things to do. The planetary energy that is on board from July 28 to 31 is intense, somewhat dangerous and certainly will prove to be frustrating. Let us pray that the ferry system has its problems worked out, but it looks doubtful. Actually all forms of transportation may experience delays and other problems. The gift of knowing the planetary rhythms is that you can accommodate the energy and deal with the normal and natural cycles in a conscious manner rather than reactively. The planets are telling us to relax and enjoy but don’t let your guard down and keep an eye on the kids as the probability of mishaps is stronger than usual. Prepare and double check all that you need to bring with you, watch that you don’t lock yourself out as the stories are starting to come in already regarding the tricky antics of Mercury and Neptune. Try not to get lost out there. Keep your cell phone charged up and don’t lose the darn thing. Expect the bizarre and unusual to happen. Excitement and high adventure is promised as well. Basically we may all be a bit loopy, dazed and dazzled by the amount of sunlight coming into our dear little brains. We’re just not used to it. In many ways, this particular weekend will be memorable and special for many souls. Make it a safe one. Smarten up and fly right and drive right too, and give others who refuse to, give them a wide berth as they hurtle towards their destiny.

ARIES

MARCH 21 – APRIL 19

The planets are leaning in your favour although things may not be moving along as quickly as you would like. Exercising patience is the lesson of the week, knowing that in time your problems will be solved. The new moon on August 4 promises that auspicious events will take place soon.

TAURUS

APRIL 20 – MAY 21

Mars enters Taurus on July 27 and immediately squares off with Saturn. This particular energy will run until mid August. It does not represent peaceful easy feelings, but is much more indicative of a dust up of some sort. Take it easy and think before you act or react. A busy and demanding time is upon you.

GEMINI

MAY 22 – JUNE 20

There was a Tee shirt with the slogan that said, “Stop making sense”. You may repeat that mantra to yourself into early August. You may wonder what reality is, or you just may not care. You may be having way too much fun. Writing, fantasizing and acting and any form of creative activity is highlighted.

CANCER

JUNE 21 – JULY 23

The moon passes through your sign from August 1 to 3 placing you in a lunar high. The planetary positions will favour those that are receptive and intuitive, which of course you are endowed with both traits. Music, fantasy and the arts will capture your attention. Keep in mind that the world is wobbling a bit and people may be acting strange.

LEO

JULY 24 – AUGUST 23

The new moon on August 4 occurs in your sign. A new start is signaled and you may be relieved and ready to go. The planetary energies are intense. Accidents and incidents are close at hand. So be wise and take is easy in all that you do. On the positive, fantastic journeys are indicated in which magical and memorable scenarios play themselves out.

VIRGO

AUGUST 24 – SEPTEMBER 23

A Virgo friend asked recently, ‘why are all these men hitting on me right now’? I noted that Venus the love planet sits in the middle of Virgo. Venus brings a certain glow and radiance that none can resist. It is a perfect time to escape into a world of fun and fantasy, as long as you don’t lose your way.

LIBRA

SETEMBER 24 – OCTOBER 23

A new world is opening its doors to you. Seek out unique friendships and join up with others that share your interests and passions. The new moon on August 4 bodes well for you. Unusual experiences come your way and continue to surprise you. A new love could enter the picture.

SCORPIO

OCTOBER 24 – NOVEMBER 22

The waters have just become a bit choppy and you will have to navigate your ship carefully. The planets are indicating that a busy, demanding and challenging time is upon you and you must handle it. July 28 to mid August is the time of the greatest intensity. Sports and outdoor adventures figure strongly. Mishaps and accidents are high on the list so use caution while out there on the road.

SAGITTARIUS

NOVEMBER 23 – DECEMBER 21

Changes come quickly especially from July 29 to 31. Stay open and willing to accommodate a change of plans. The new moon on August 4 is indicating excellent opportunities that will develop throughout August. Stay sharp, as the planets are running a bit heavy.

CAPRICORN

DECEMBER 22 – JANUARY 20

You may hit the wall and experience a bit of frustration. Sensing that your creativity is blocked or that others are resisting your efforts. Interestingly, a breakthrough occurs and it’s back to action. July 30 to mid August tells the tale. Take it easy.

AQUARIUS

JANUARY 21 – FEBRUARY 19

An intense ride begins and you will get lots of practice learning to stay on the bucking bronco. Life intensifies every which way and the planets are promising quite the ride through time. Expect everything from the totally ridiculous to the divine to occur. Writers, poets, musicians, story tellers, spin masters, magicians, and all those that work in the film industry, start your engines!

PISCES

FEBRUARY 20 – MARCH 20

Your world is about to change in some very interesting ways. Love could be close by, or at least possibly a few flash in the pan type of attractions could come up especially from July 29 to August 4. You won’t be bored and with the interaction of Mercury and Neptune going on over the next few weeks you may be right at home in the midst of all that life has to offer.
