Planets on the 1st – A New Experience of Yourself and the Archetypes
Each planet represents a facet of your psyche. What if you choose one of these facets as a focalizing crystal through which to experience yourself and life? What better way to exercise a less developed part of yourself than choosing it first? Technically, we move a selected planet to the Ascendant, representing the intention to let that player lead the way for a while. Working with this technique is more experiential than anything – you just try it out and see what happens! It encourages developing a more personal relationship with the archetypes as they reveal themselves to you. If you’ve spent most of your life coming from a Venus perspective, imagine how things might seem and be different if you live through your Mars-self. We’ll explore the Planets on the 1st technique and how to use it, look at the motivation and desire of each planet, and consider the possibilities when choosing each of them first.
