President’s note

The Guild celebrated its 22^nd anniversary on October 17. In November we begin our 23^rd year of offering astrological talks, workshops and a forum for networking with other astrologers and students of astrology in the Fraser Valley. Our speaking schedule is filled for this year, the next available spot is in November 2014, thanks to the hard work by the outgoing president Alison Price. The Guild is a non-profit society operated on a shoestring budget, and our longevity is testament to the wonderful support from our members. Our fiscal year is from November 1 to October 31, and once again we ask for your continued support of the Guild. Our annual dues for the year remain $50 for regular members and $40 for our senior members (60+). You can renew online using your credit card via PayPal. Simply click on the page above titled membership where you also have the option to donate an additional $5. All donations and the monthly non-member drop-in fees of $10 will go toward our Project Fund to purchase a projector for our talks. Every year we present eight Thursday night talks and our one social event in December — our annual potluck, which is a great time to network and talk astrology without an agenda. We also host one or more Saturday workshops, the next on in September 2014.
